英语作为第二语言证书课程

什么是精简程序?

The condensed level 课程 serve students who have limited time due to work and family 承诺. They also help students who have had to pause their language learning for a long time and want to review a prior level before moving forward. 其他学生 take them for additional practice at the same time as a full level course. 例如, a student might take ESLN 1062A (Level 2A) during the week and ESLN 1015A (Condensed 2级)周六. 浓缩课程侧重于最重要的核心语言 competencies in all four skill areas (listening, speaking, reading, and writing).  These 课程 are usually offered on Saturdays and in 社区 locations.

After you complete and pass the required 课程, you will earn a Certificate of Competency and be prepared to begin the ESLN 先进的 Condensed (Levels 4 – 5) program or the ESLN四级课程.

什么是ESLN公民之路计划?

The ESLN公民之路 certificate program prepares students to become active, engaged, and knowledgeable citizens of the United States while increasing their English 语言流利.  这些课程提供了政府的基本背景知识， 美国的历史、公民生活和文化.S. 让学生们做好准备 and pass the USCIS citizenship tests and participate in the 社区.  请注意: Students do NOT need to be eligible for citizenship to take these 课程.

A Certificate of Competency is awarded upon successful completion of all required 课程.
